
Elpress – a global company
Have been developing, manufacturing and marketing complete crimping systems for electrical connectors since 1959. The Elpress Group consists of the Elpress and ABIKO business areas and is owned by Lagercrantz Group AB.
The Elpress headquarters and factory are located in Kramfors, Sweden. Subsidiaries are Elpress GmbH, Elpress A/S, Elpress (Beijing) Ltd. and Elpress Inc. with warehouses in Viersen, Germany, Silkeborg, Denmark, Beijing, China and Chicago, USA. In total, around 160 people work in the Elpress Group. Kramfors is a town in the Gudmundrå district of Ångermanland and the centre of Kramfors Municipality, Västernorrland County, Sweden. The town is located on the western bank of the Ångermanälven River, along the Ådalen valley, and is crossed by National Highway 90 and the Ådalsbanan railway line. To the west, the town also borders on Höga kusten, which is the area of the Swedish coast with the most hills. The town is historically known for its large sawmill industry in the latter half of the 19th century, and the town centre saw extensive new construction in the first half of the 2010s.
